The Bunce Maxi road sweeper is a tractor mounted rotary broom, with optional debris collector box and optional 200 litre water tank and sprinkler attachment. It is designed for use with almost any tractor fitted with hydraulic lift, three point linkage and power take off, and can be fitted or detached in less than five minutes. The castor wheels fitted to the rear enable the Maxi to follow road undulation. The sweeper may be used to sweep straight ahead (for collection) or in two angled positions either side. The splash guard is easily removed to allow the collector attachment to be bolted into place.
Optional Extras available with this sweeper include:
- Water spray equipment. The 200 litre water tank is fitted with a filter unit and quick release cover. The diaphragm pump delivers water to the main boom fitted with spray jets.
- Sweeper collector attachment. The practical capacity of the box is in excess of 0.1m3 (3 ft3). It is emptied by raising the hydraulic system and releasing a snatch mechanism from the drivers seated position.
