This snowplough is designed to fit directly onto the forks. We recommend they are fitted to rough terrain units which will have sufficient traction to push a reasonable quantity of snow. This then creates a low cost means of keeping your site open and clear of snow in adverse weather. The snowplough can be quickly & easily fitted to the fork lift in just a few minutes without the need for special tools so you can be ready to clear snow at very short notice. The snow plough is fitted with height adjustable castor wheels and high carbon, replaceable, sprung, steel wearing edges which retract if an immoveable object like a proud manhole cover is hit. This protects the snowplough from damage and also protects the driver. We have heard of cases where the driver was thrown through the windscreen of the vehicle when using a bucket or other makes of snowploughs without this facility, which is clearly a very unsafe situation which must be avoided!

The standard unit has a fixed angle to just one side, but it would be possible to make a version which can be angled to the right or left if required for a small additional cost.

The fork lift could also be used to pull a Bunce Epoke Towed Salt Spreader which will help to keep your sites free of ice and reduce the risk of you, your staff or your customers having an accident.
