50 litre capacity, road speed related, pedestrian operated 'drop' salt spreader which is well balanced and easy to use and maintain. Large diameter pneumatic wheels make it easy to negotiate high curbs. Salt is forced out of the hopper using the Epoke Metering Principal which ensures and accurate and consistent spread even with wet lumpy salt . The spread rate is easily adjusted by changing the tension on the spring base via a lever on the side of the spreader. One filing will treat several kilometres, which when compared to spreading with a shovel, or many other spreaders available, saves time, money, salt and reduces potential damage to the environment. They are painted orange RAL 2000.
