Bunce Epoke PMH1.4 - 140 litre capacity, three point linkage mounted, 'drop' salt spreader ideal for use on compact tractors and powered hydraulically from the tractor hydraulics. Not road speed related. Salt is forced out of the hopper using the Epoke Metering Principal which ensures and accurate and consistent spread even with wet lumpy salt. The spread rate is easily adjusted by changing the spring base settings via a lever on the side of the spreader. The advantage of these models is that there are no road wheels so the units are often simpler to maintain than wheel driven models, where the wheels can be damaged when care is not taken driving up and down curbs. These units are ideal for de-icing pavements, cycle ways and small factory sites etc. and the compact tractor can be fitted with a Bunce compact tractor snowplough to make a very effective snow clearing unit. As the spreader is not ‘road speed related’ it can be used to spread sand etc on sports pitches when it is not being used for de-icing operations.
